Workshop: Monster(a) Bowl

🌿 Make Your Own monster size Monstera Leaf Bowl: 11am Saturday 8/22

A little tropical. A little sculptural. And definitely not a bowl you’re can buy at Target.

In this workshop, you’ll create your own ceramic monstera leaf bowl, complete with the iconic splits, cut-outs, curves, and veining that make these leaves so beautiful.

We’ll guide you through shaping your leaf from clay, adding dimension and texture, and gently forming it into a shallow bowl.

Perfect as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, catch-all, or simply a piece of functional art.

What’s included

• 2–3 hour guided workshop
• Clay, tools, and instruction
• Glazing and kiln firing
• One large, handmade monstera leaf bowl
• Lots of options to customize your shape, texture, and design

You’ll choose your glaze in the studio, and we’ll take care of glazing and firing your finished piece.

A few notes

• No pottery experience needed. We’ll walk you through it!
• Most people who come to our workshops are beginners.
• Children 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 2–3 weeks after firing.

Come turn a slab of mud into something that looks like it belongs on your wall.

Some images are inspiration from other ceramic artists and creators online. Your bowl will be handmade by you, so shape, size, details, and glaze will be uniquely yours.
